The annual giving program, administered by the Development Office, seeks
private support from alumni, faculty, emeritus faculty and staff, parents and
friends of Arkansas State University. The goal of annual giving is to enhance
the university's academic programs by providing meaningful giving opportunities
and maintaining positive relations with our supporters.
All gifts to the ASU Foundation, Inc., are applied to donor-designated accounts
for immediate needs or endowments to enrich the university's future. Annual
gifts have been used to fund scholarships for the region's students, to
equip laboratories in our science programs, to provide scholarly journals
for our
faculty, to upgrade computer capabilities in classrooms, and to enhance
the Dean B. Ellis library, the museum and KASU public radio programs. All
colleges
and departments have benefited from private support.
